NEW DELHI, March 6 (Reuters) - Indian refiners are studying the legal implications of the latest U.S. order that allows imports of Russian oil from sanctioned entities, an Indian government source said on Friday.
The United States issued a 30-day waiver on Thursday, allowing India to buy Russian oil currently stuck at sea.
The decision came after months of Washington pressuring New Delhi to avoid buying Russian barrels in an effort to reduce money flowing to Moscow's war effort in Ukraine.
