TAIPEI, March 3 (Reuters) - Taiwan's economy ministry said on Tuesday there were no worries about short-term LNG supplies and that it has longer-term back up plans, following disruption caused by the war against Iran.
In the event of a prolonged blockade by Iran, Taiwan will look to non-Middle East sources including the U.S. and Australia and could discuss mutual assistance with other LNG buyers including Japan and South Korea, the ministry said in a statement.
