March 2 (Reuters) - An Entergy ETR.N substation caught fire in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on Monday, parish officials confirmed, knocking out power to about 4,500 customers, local media reported.
Smoke was visible across southern parts of the city after the blaze broke out at a substation off Big Lake Road, according to the report.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire or when power would be restored. Entergy did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
