US Cash Grains-Corn basis bids flat to up at elevators

CHICAGO, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Basis bids for corn were steady to higher at elevators and steady to mixed at processors in a spot check of locations in the U.S. Midwest on Tuesday as futures ticked up slightly.

Corn basis bids rose at an elevator in Cincinnati, Ohio, and another in Blair, Nebraska. They rose at a processor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and fell at another in Decatur, Illinois.
Soy basis bids rose at an elevator in Cincinnati, Ohio, and remained unchanged at all other locations in the spot check.
Chicago corn traded near flat and soybeans rose as China re-entered the export market following the Lunar New Year holiday but investors assessed upheaval in U.S. tariff policy and the consequences for Chinese demand.
