Occidental CEO says industry needs $70/barrel oil to grow production

- Occidental OXY.N CEO Vicki Hollub said on Tuesday that crude oil prices need to rise to $70 per barrel in order for the oil industry to grow production.

U.S. oil production can be maintained at its current level in the $60 to $65 price range, Hollub said, during an Energy Aspects conference in Washington.
