PARIS, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Namibia is a "golden province" for TotalEnergies, deputy chief financial officer Arnaud Le Foll said on Wednesday during an analyst call, adding that the company plans to explore a new prospect called Olympe, located near its Venus discovery.
Le Foll also said that the company's Venus project is expected to reach a final investment decision by mid-2026, with first oil targeted for 2030. In addition, TotalEnergies could take a final investment decision on the Mopane project in 2028.
