US Cash Grains-Corn, soy bids flat ahead of USDA report

CHICAGO, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Basis bids for corn and soybeans were flat in the U.S. Midwest on Tuesday as market players adjusted positions and awaited the U.S. Department of Agriculture's monthly supply and demand report set to be released at 11:00 a.m. CT (1700 GMT).

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is expected to trim its estimate for 2025-26 U.S. soybean ending stocks in a monthly report and keep its corn carryover estimate unchanged from January, according to a Reuters survey of analysts.
The corn basis fell at an Illinois river terminal and was steady elsewhere.
CBOT soybeans were marginally up on Tuesday as traders adjusted positions before a widely tracked USDA crop report and assessed prospects for further Chinese demand.
Most-active soybeans Sv1 were last up 12 cents at $11.22-3/4 per bushel, and most-active corn Cv1 were last up 1-1/4 cents at $4.30 per bushel as of midday.
