Asia Naphtha/Gasoline-Naphtha crack inches up, gasoline falls
NEW DELHI, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Asia's naphtha refining profit margin was up slightly on Friday after a single trade emerged at the Singapore window, and hopes of firm demand from China underpinned market sentiment.
The crack rose to $85.45 per metric ton over Brent crude from $82.75 a day earlier.
Traders and analysts said Chinese demand could give some impetus to the crack, but lower demand from steam cracking units elsewhere in the region will persist in the near term keeping margins under pressure.
In the gasoline market, the crack fell to $6.20 per barrel over Brent crude on Friday.
