
CHICAGO, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures closed lower on Tuesday on large global supplies.GRA/
CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH26 settled down 7-3/4 cents at $5.10-1/4 per bushel.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 ended down 4-1/4 cents at $5.23 a bushel and Minneapolis March spring wheat MWEH26 dropped 3 cents to finish at $5.62 a bushel.
Tensions between Washington and Europe over Greenland unsettled investors and weakness in outside markets hung over the grain complex, analysts said.
Traders were assessing sizable wheat purchases by Saudi Arabia and Algeria, although prices suggested stiff export competition.
