CHICAGO, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures settled higher on Wednesday on a technical bounce following losses in previous sessions.
CBOT grains rebounded after falling for the previous two sessions under pressure from bearish U.S. Department of Agriculture crop data released on Monday, analysts said.
Russia's IKAR consultancy raised the country’s grain export potential for the 2025/26 season to 60.2 million metric tons from 57.8 million tons, but warned the target may not be met due to a poor crop in the south.
An easing dollar and strength across commodity markets, supported by geopolitical turbulence, also helped underpin grains.
CBOT March soft red winter wheat WH26 settled 2 cents higher at $5.12-1/2 per bushel.
K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH26 settled 2-3/4 cents higher at $5.22-1/4 a bushel while Minneapolis March spring wheat MWEH26 added 1/2 cent to finish at $5.67 a bushel.
