
ALMATY, Jan 13 (Reuters) - KazMunayGas said that the oil tanker Matilda, chartered by one of its subsidiaries, was attacked by a drone on Tuesday ahead of a scheduled loading with Kazakh oil at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal on the Black Sea.
"The tanker was subjected to a drone attack," KazMunayGas said in a statement. There was a blast but no fire. No one was injured and the vessel remains seaworthy, KazMunayGas said.
The tanker was scheduled to load Kazakhstan's oil at the CPC terminal on Jan. 18.
