Jan 12 (Reuters) - Ukraine awarded development rights for the Dobra lithium deposit in the Kirovohrad region to Dobra Lithium Holdings under a production sharing agreement, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said on Monday.
Dobra’s shareholders are TechMet and Rock Holdings, and the project is expected to draw at least $179 million in capital investment, including $12 million for exploration and an audit of reserves, Svyrydenko said on the Telegram messaging app.
The New York Times reported last week that the consortium that won the bid has links to U.S. President Donald Trump.
