Chile's Codelco to produce 1.344 million tons of copper in 2026, chairman says

RIYADH, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Chile's state-run Codelco is expected to produce 1.344 million metric tons of copper in 2026, about 10,000 tons above its 2025 figure, Chairman Maximo Pacheco said on Monday.
Speaking to Reuters on the sidelines of the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh, Pacheco said that Codelco, the world's largest copper producer, reached 1.33 million tons of production in 2025. In addition, the company produced 100,000 in partnerships with other companies.
Pacheco added that the company's joint lithium venture with Chile's SQM is expected to produced 250,000 tons in 2026, up from 230,000 in 2025.
