Ukraine welcomes US seizure of Russian-flagged tanker in North Atlantic

KYIV, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Ukraine's foreign minister said on Wednesday that Kyiv welcomes the U.S. seizure of a Russian-flagged tanker linked to Venezuela, adding it was a good example of how to act against Moscow.
"The apprehension of a Russian-flagged ship in the North Atlantic underscores the United States' and President (Donald) Trump's resolute leadership," Andrii Sybiha wrote on X.
"We welcome such an approach to dealing with Russia: act, not fear. This is also relevant to the peace process and bringing a lasting peace closer."
