SEOUL, Dec 23 (Reuters) - A U.S. Navy nuclear-powered submarine entered a South Korean port on Tuesday for crew rest and the loading of supplies, South Korea's Navy said.
South Korea's Navy said USS Greeneville's visit will be utilised as a chance to promote exchange and cooperation between the U.S. and South Korean naval forces, and further strengthen their combined defence posture.
It is the first time in about 10 months that a U.S. nuclear-powered attack submarine has entered Busan port since the USS Alexandria in February, the Yonhap News Agency said.
