Slovak leader Fico to meet Trump next year to back nuclear power plant deal

PRAGUE, Dec 15 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump has invited Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to the United States during next year's soccer World Cup to back the signature of a nuclear power deal between the two countries, Fico said on Monday.
Slovakia's government said this year it had approved an inter-governmental deal with the United States for U.S. company Westinghouse to build an over 1,000 megawatt nuclear reactor in the central European country.
