PARIS, Dec 14 (Reuters) - France is urging the European Union and Mercosur countries to postpone their planned December meeting, saying conditions are not yet in place for the signing of the EU-Mercosur trade deal, the French prime minister's office said on Sunday.
Recent European Commission proposals did not yet meet France's requirements, the prime minister's office said, reiterating the country's call for enforceable "mirror clauses" and strong protections for European farmers.
