Zelenskiy says Ukraine ready for energy ceasefire if Russia agrees

KYIV, Dec 9 (Reuters) - Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday that Ukraine was ready for an energy ceasefire if Russia agrees, and that it would do whatever it can to organise a high-level meeting with the U.S. within the next two weeks on a peace deal.

Responding to questions from reporters, he added he wants to discuss the restoration of Ukraine as part of any U.S.-backed deal and he expects to have more meetings with European and American counterparts this week at a security advisers' level.
