- Canada's Air Transat said it will begin suspending flights on Monday, after its pilots' union issued a strike notice for early Wednesday morning.
- Pension plan provider Blue Pier is suing Bank of Nova Scotia BNS.TO and its subsidiaries for C$700 million ($506.37 million) in damages, alleging the bank used confidential information to set up a rival plan after talks about a possible partnership broke off.
- General Fusion has raised C$51 million ($36.89 million), its second capital injection this year, and could be eyeing an initial public offering.
