- BP's BP.L Olympic Pipeline system returned to full service over the weekend following a leak east of Everett, Washington that closed the pipeline from mid November.

Nearly 2,300 gallons of refined products had been recovered as of Saturday, the company said, but the total amount of leaked product was still being assessed.

"Olympic Pipeline restarted the 20-inch segment on November 29 after completing repairs," the company said in a statement over the weekend.

BP shut the entire system, halting product deliveries, a week after a discharge of refined products was first reported on November 11.

The pipeline system moves refined petroleum products including gasoline, diesel and jet fuel from northern Washington to Oregon, and consists of one 16-inch diameter pipeline and one 20-inch pipeline.

Crews restarted the 16-inch segment of the pipeline system last week after finding no indications of a leak.
