Iraq invites US oil firms to negotiate West Qurna 2 field management

Dec 1 (Reuters) - Iraq's oil ministry said it has invited several U.S. oil companies to enter negotiations over taking over management of the West Qurna 2 oilfield.
The ministry said it aims to transfer the operation of the field to one of the firms through a competitive bidding process in line with existing regulations for developing oilfields.
