US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis bids flat in slow trade

ReutersNov 26, 2025 6:51 PM

- Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were steady in the U.S. Plains on Wednesday as trade slowed ahead of Thursday's Thanksgiving holiday, dealers said.

  • Markets will be closed on Thursday.

  • A sharp fall in exports from Ukraine due to a rain-delayed harvest and Russian strikes on railway infrastructure supported futures as uncertainty continued about the prospects for a peace deal between the two countries.

  • K.C. March hard red winter wheat KWH25 futures were last 3-1/4 cents higher to $5.31 per bushel.
