
CHICAGO, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade at 8:30 a.m. CST (1430 GMT) on Friday.
NOTE: The U.S. Department of Agriculture is due to release its November crop supply and demand report on Friday at 11:00 a.m. CT (1700 GMT).
WHEAT - Up 5 to 7 cents per bushel
Wheat futures up as traders positioned ahead of a closely watched U.S. government crop report. It will be the first global supply and demand outlook since September.
Argentina also boosted its wheat outlook, with the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange raising its estimate of the country's wheat harvest to 24 million metric tons from 22 million earlier, and the Rosario Exchange forecasting a record output of 24.5 million tons.
December soft red winter wheat WZ25 was last up 5-3/4 cents to $5.41-1/2 per bushel. K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ25 was up 4-3/4 cents to $5.30-1/2 a bushel, and Minneapolis December wheat MWEZ25 was last up 2-1/4 cents to $5.72 per bushel.
CORN - Steady to up 1 cent per bushel
Corn futures chopped up and down as traders positioned ahead of the upcoming USDA report.
Ahead of Friday's supply and demand reports, a Reuters poll of analysts projected on average that the USDA will lower its U.S. corn yield estimate to 184 bushels per acre from 186.7 bpa.
CBOT December corn CZ25 was last steady at $4.41-1/2 per bushel.
SOYBEANS - Up 1 to 5 cents per bushel
Soybeans ticked higher as traders awaited the resumption of export data releases that could provide clues to Chinese buying.
The USDA is expected to peg the U.S. soybean yield at 53.1 bpa, down from 53.5 bpa previously.
The agency will also release a six-week summary of daily U.S. agricultural sales on the day, offering clarity on China's recent U.S. soybean buying.
Reuters has previously reported that China has begun modest purchases of U.S. farm goods, but Beijing has not confirmed the White House's announcement of 12 million metric tons of soybean purchases by year-end.
January soybeans SF26 were last up 5 cents to $11.37 per bushel.
