US Plains HRW Wheat-Spot basis bids unchanged in muted trade

ReutersNov 12, 2025 10:54 PM

- Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were flat in the U.S. Plains on Wednesday in quiet trade.

  • A Reuters poll of analysts estimated export sales of wheat for the week ended November 6 at 250,000 to 600,000 metric tons.

  • The release of export sales data by the USDA has been suspended because of the ongoing U.S. government shutdown.

  • The USDA report will include the agency's first estimates of U.S. and global crop production and ending stocks since mid-September.

  • K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ25 ended 1-3/4 cents higher at $5.25-1/2 a bushel.
