US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis bids steady to higher, protein premiums firm

- Basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat were flat to higher at elevators in the southern U.S. Plains on Tuesday on a day of light selling, according to dealers.

  • Protein premiums for wheat shipped to and through Kansas City rose 5 cents for wheat with 11.6% to 12.2% protein content. They rose 11 cents for wheat with 12.4% protein content and 15 cents for wheat with 12.6% and 12.8% protein content. KCBT/SCA
