WASHINGTON, Oct 21 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani on Tuesday and discussed efforts to finalize U.S. commercial deals in Iraq, the State Department said.
In a readout of the call, the department said Rubio congratulated al-Sudani for resuming oil exports via the Iraq-Türkiye Pipeline, which will benefit Iraq, Turkey and U.S. businesses.
