Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline cracks inch higher

LONDON, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline profit margins rose slightly, by about 16 cents a barrel on Tuesday, in line with broadly stable crude futures markets.

• A total of 10,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline barges traded as Varo, ExxonMobil and BP sold to Trafigura, Gunvor, TotalEnergies and GST.

• A total of 4,000 tons of Eurobob E10 gasoline barges traded as Trafigura sold to MB Energy.

• Nigeria's Dangote oil refinery restarted production at its 204,000 barrel per day gasoline unit as planned on October 19 at a run rate of 60%, industry monitor IIR said in an emailed statement to Reuters.

• Valero reported maintenance at its 205,000 barrel per day capacity Houston refinery in the U.S..

• The American Petroleum Institute said on Tuesday it opposes legislation to expand year-round sales of E15 gasoline, a reversal that underscores deepening tensions between the oil and ethanol industries after a brief period of cooperation.

• In China, gasoline demand displacement from sales of new energy vehicles could slow in 2026, Morgan Stanley analysts said in a note on Tuesday, as a cut in subsidies could lead to a slowdown in the buying of electric vehicles.

• EU and UK gasoline exports to other regions have averaged 944,000 bpd in October so far, according to Kpler data, compared with 916,000 bpd in September.
