CBOT corn ticks lower on harvest pressure

ReutersOct 13, 2025 7:15 PM

- Chicago Board of Trade corn futures fell on Monday on pressure from an ongoing U.S. Midwest corn harvest and selling pressure.

  • CBOT December corn CZ25 settled 2-1/4 cents lower to $4.10-3/4 per bushel.

  • The U.S. corn harvest is advancing but traders will not receive their usual detailed Monday USDA crop progress report.

  • Rainy weather has caused some harvest delays in the U.S. Midwest, but not enough to cause concern, an analyst note said.
