Iran has released French-German national Monterlos, France's outgoing FM says

Oct 8 (Reuters) - Iran-detained French-German national Lennart Monterlos has been released and is returning to France, outgoing French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said in a post on the social media X.
"Lennart Monterlos is free!" Barrot wrote.
Iran acquitted on Monday Lennart Monterlos of espionage charges, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
