HOUSTON, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Gas flowing to Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass Plant in Louisiana was just over 1.7 billion cubic feet a day on Wednesday and Thursday, according to revised data from financial firm LSEG.
Flows into the facility averaged 1.57 bcf a day in the third quarter, the LSEG data showed.
Venture Global, which has been producing above design capacity at its Plaquemines plant, received permission from federal regulators to increase export capacity at Calcasieu Pass in August.
The U.S. is the world's largest exporter of LNG and a key supplier of the superchilled fuel to Europe after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Cargoes from Calcasieu Pass are sold to some of the world's largest LNG companies including Shell SHEL.L, Repsol REP.MC, Edison EDNn.MI, and BP BP.L.
There was a small decline in feedgas demand at Cheniere's LNG.N Sabine Pass export facility in Texas. Cheniere's Corpus Christi facility and Venture Global's Plaquemines plant, in Louisiana, posted small increases.
