SAO PAULO, Sept 10 (Reuters) - A Chinese delegation is expected to visit the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul to verify sanitary conditions there after a bird flu outbreak reported by authorities triggered trade bans, according to Gilberto Tomazoni, CEO of meatpacker JBS SA JBSS3.SA.
Speaking at an industry event on Wednesday, Tomazoni said China may resume buying Brazilian poultry products, but added negotiations are still pending after an outbreak of bird flu on a commercial chicken farm in Rio Grande do Sul in May.
