Aug 18 (Reuters) - Canadian Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu encouraged Air Canada and its flight attendants' union to undergo mediation in order to finalize a collective agreement and resolve a strike the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) has declared unlawful.
"The Canadian Industrial Relations Board actually has mediators as well, so if they choose to use mediation, they can do that right now, and I would encourage them to do so," Hajdu said in an interview on CBC's "Power and Politics."
