LONDON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Dutch wholesale gas prices were little changed on Tuesday morning amid stable supply.
The benchmark Dutch front-month contract at the TTF hub TRNLTTFMc1 edged down by 0.20 euro to 34.00 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) at 0755 GMT, LSEG data showed.
The October contract was up 0.10 euro at 34.70 euros/MWh.
"There isn't a strong driver (for prices) in either direction at the moment and the market is quite muted," a gas trader said.
Flows from Norway are stable. Wind generation in north-west Europe is expected to drop from tomorrow but solar output is strong.
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) send-out today is expected to be 1,741 gigawatt hours (GWh), down from more than 2,000 GWh on Monday, due to lower send-out from French terminals, LSEG data showed.
Asian cooling demand remains firm amid ongoing heatwaves, which could support global LNG flows and limit downside pressure on European prices, said LSEG analyst Oleh Skrynyk.
U.S. liquefied natural gas company Freeport LNG's export plant in Texas was taking on more natural gas on Monday, in a sign that the plant exited an outage over the weekend, according to a company filing with state regulators and gas flow data from LSEG.
In the British market, the September contract TRGBNBPMU5 fell by 1.03 pence to 83.74 pence per therm.
In the European carbon market, the benchmark contract CFI2Zc1 was down by 0.20 euros at 70.65 euros a metric ton.
