US Cash Products-Gulf Coast conventional gasoline rises on start of new trading cycle

NEW YORK, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Cash differentials for gasoline rose in the U.S. Gulf Coast spot market on Friday on buyer demand after trading rolled over to Colonial Pipeline's 46th annual cycle of gasoline deliveries to New York Harbor, traders said.

U.S. Gulf Coast M2 conventional gasoline RU-DIFF-USG gained 2.25 cents, trading 3.75 cents lower than the gasoline futures benchmark on the New York Mercantile Exchange RBc1, market participants said.

A2 CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-USG was little changed, trading 14.25 cents per gallon below futures, traders said.

Gulf Coast 62-grade ULSD ULSD-DIFF-USG fell 0.05 cent, trading 7.65 cents per gallon below the ultra-low sulfur diesel futures contract on the NYMEX HOc1.

Chicago CBOB gasoline CBOB-DIFF-MC gained half a cent, trading 4.5 cents per gallon below futures, traders said.​

Chicago ultra-low sulfur diesel ULSD-DIFF-MC was little changed, trading 1 cents per gallon below diesel futures.

Elsewhere in the Midwest, Group 3 V-grade gasoline RUV-DIFF-G3 gained 1.25 cents, trading 7.5 cents lower than the benchmark.

Group 3 diesel ULSD-DIFF-G3 gained quarter of a cent, trading 0.25 cents lower than the benchmark.

The RBOB futures contract on NYMEX RBc1 fell 5.53 cents to settle at $2.1186 a gallon on Friday​.

NYMEX ultra-low sulfur diesel futures HOc1 fell 9.6 cents to settle at $2.2999 a gallon on Friday.

Renewable fuel (D6) credits RIN-D6-US for 2025 traded between 113 cents and 111 cents each on Friday, down from between 116 cents and 112 cents in the previous session, traders said.

Biomass-based (D4) credits RIN-D4-US traded between 118.5 cents and 118 cents each, down from between 121.5 cents and 120 cents each previously, traders said.
