South Korea copper exports to US expected to fall due to tariffs, trade ministry says

SEOUL, Aug 1 (Reuters) - South Korea's trade ministry said on Friday that exports of copper products to the United States were expected to decline due to a 50% tariff on copper announced by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The ministry said in a statement that it would actively respond to minimise the impact by diversifying copper exports.
