ReutersJul 29, 2025 3:49 PM

- Freeport LNG said on Tuesday that all three trains at its facility in Texas are operating, after data from financial firm LSEG showed reduced throughput since Saturday.

The Freeport LNG facility on Quintana Island is the third largest LNG plant in the U.S. and has suffered from periodic outages since it started operating.

Its operations are closely watched by markets as they have in the past influenced LNG prices.

Freeport's feedgas nominations rose to 1.9 billion cubic feet on Tuesday from 1.1 bcf on Monday, according to the LSEG data.

When all three trains at the facility are operating, Freeport pulls between 1.9 and 2.3 bcfd of feedgas, LSEG data show.

Nominations had been reduced since Saturday, the data show.

Freeport confirmed the three trains were operating, but declined to comment on the last three days.
