The International Grains Council kept its 2025-26 world wheat crop outlook at 808 million tons, a modest increase on the prior season's 800 million.
Harvesting wound down in top U.S. hard red winter wheat-growing states, grain merchants said.
In Canada, farmers are likely to produce average-size wheat and canola crops this autumn, but years of drought have made rain critical for the plants to fulfill their potential, farmers and analysts said.
Net U.S. wheat export sales totaled 494,400 metric tons in the week ended July 10, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a weekly report. The sales were in line with analysts' estimates for 300,000 to 700,000 tons. EXP/WHE
