- CASPIAN PIPELINE CONSORTIUM RAISED OIL EXPORTS IN JUNE BY 8% FROM MAY TO 6.177 MILLION TONS - TWO SOURCES

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which transports oil from Kazakhstan via a Russia's Black Sea terminal, increased exports by 8% in June from May, two industry sources told Reuters on Monday.

The oil exports via the CPC pipeline rose to 6.177 million metric tons, or 1.63 million barrels per day, last month, they said.

The consortium, which handles more than 80% of oil exports from Kazakhstan, does not comment on its production activity.

A source said that oil exports from only Kazakhstan via the route increased last month to 5.580 million tons from 5.386 million tons in May, as the country ramped up production to match a monthly record-high.

CPC, whose shareholders include Chevron CVX.N and ExxonMobil XOM.N, expects its oil exports to be lower by around 2.6% this year comparing to an initial plan, at 74 million tons.
