Wine lobby group urges EU to keep wine in U.S. trade talks

PARIS, July 11 (Reuters) - European wine lobby gourp CEEV said wine products might not receive preferential treatment in any potential trade agreement between the EU and the United States, urging the European Commission to defend the industry's interests.

"We are deeply concerned about the potential exclusion of wine from the list of sensitive goods included in the deal package.” said CEEV president Marzia Varvaglione.
