US Cash Grains-Corn basis mixed, soybean basis steady to higher

CHICAGO, July 10 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn were steady to mixed in a spot check of elevators, processors and river terminals in the U.S. Midwest on Thursday, while soybean bids were mostly steady to higher at processors and river terminals.

• The corn basis improved at a processor in Decatur, Illinois and and river terminal in Davenport, Iowa. It fell at a processor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and rose at a river terminal in Seneca, Illinois.

• The soybean basis rose at processors in Morristown and Lafayette, Indiana and the river terminal in Seneca, Illinois.

• Soybean and corn futures rebounded as traders squared positions ahead of monthly U.S. crop supply/demand reports due Friday, while favorable Midwest weather capped rallies, brokers said.

• Chicago Board of Trade December corn futures CZ25 settled up 1 cent to $4.16-1/2 per bushel. CBOT November soy futures SX25 rose 6-1/2 cents to end at $10.13-3/4 per bushel.
