SAO PAULO, July 10 (Reuters) - Brazil's Agriculture Minister Carlos Favaro said on Thursday his country will look to expand markets and reduce trade barriers, after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a 50% tariff on imports from Latin America's largest economy.
In a statement, Favaro said he would reach out to key markets in the Middle East, South Asia and the Global South as alternatives for selling Brazilian exports, adding he would take proactive actions to create new opportunities for agriculture.
