US Cash Grains-Corn and soybean basis bids rise at river terminals

CHICAGO, June 26 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn and soybeans were steady to higher at river terminals in a spot check of locations around the U.S. Midwest on Thursday.

• The soybean basis gained strength at river terminals in Seneca, Illinois, Savanna, Illinois and Davenport Iowa.

• More locations rolled their soybean basis to the November contract.

• Hot, rainy weather is expected to provide greenhouse-like growing conditions for corn and soybeans in the U.S. Midwest in the coming weeks.
