SAO PAULO, June 18 (Reuters) - The Brazilian unit of grain trader Cargill has acquired a soy crushing plant in the northeastern state of Bahia, the company said in a statement on Wednesday, without revealing the size of the investment.
The Barreiras facility employs 250 people and produces soybean meal, pelletized soybean hulls, degummed oil and refined oil under the Liza brand, Cargill said.
