Russia and US are in contact over Iran-Israel conflict, Russian official says
MOSCOW, June 18 (Reuters) - Russia and the United States are in contact regarding the conflict between Iran and Israel, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying on Wednesday.
Ryabkov earlier warned that direct U.S. military assistance to Israel could radically destabilise the situation in the Middle East, where an air war between Iran and Israel has raged for six days.
