Grupo Mexico to sell most of its highway business for $406 mln
MEXICO CITY, June 13 (Reuters) - Mexican conglomerate Grupo Mexico has agreed to sell most of its highway business for around 7.7 billion pesos ($406.4 million), the company said in a filing on Friday.
The deal includes stakes in highway operators CIBSA, OIBSA, and Autopista Silao and is expected to close in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund investment projects in Mexico and for general corporate spending across Grupo Mexico's business lines, the company said.
