CHICAGO, June 11 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for hard red winter wheat remained flat in the southern U.S. Plains on Wednesday as rainy weather continued to delay harvesting, according to dealers.
Dealers said there was little farmer selling with wet ground making it difficult to get the harvest started.
Forecaster Commodity Weather Group said rains in the Plains are expected to continue over the next 6-15 days.
Protein premiums for railcar wheat shipped to and through Kansas City rose 3 cents a bushel for wheat with 11 to 11.2% protein and were unchanged for all other grades.
Chicago Board of Trade July K.C. HRW wheat KWN25 futures settled 3-1/4 cents lower at $5.24 per bushel at 1:02 p.m. CST (1802 GMT).
