China says made progress in talks about resuming Japanese seafood imports

BEIJING, May 30 (Reuters) - China and Japan held another round of talks on the trade of Japanese aquatic products, at which both sides made "substantial progress", according to a statement from China's General Administration of Customs on Friday.

The Japanese government said China has agreed during a meeting in Beijing on Wednesday on procedures to resume imports of Japanese seafood products after China takes "necessary procedures".
