Gas unit Energos Power arrives in Egypt with capacity of 174,000 cubic meters, ministry says
CAIRO, May 26 (Reuters) - Floating storage and regasification unit Energos Power, arrived in Egypt from Germany with a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters, as Cairo ramps up gas imports ahead of peak summer energy demand, its petroleum ministry said on Monday.
The unit was leased from U.S.-based New Fortress Energy and is one of four units Egypt plans to charter, two of which are yet to arrive, the ministry added.
