US DOE to begin issuing orders for pending LNG non-FTA export permits

HOUSTON, May 19 (Reuters) - The U.S Department of Energy will begin issuing final orders on pending applications to export liquefied natural gas to countries without a free trade agreement with the U.S., the department said on Monday.

Exports of LNG from the U.S. are in the best interest of the American public, the final LNG government study concluded on Monday.
