LONDON, May 16 (Reuters) - U.S. WTI Midland crude traded higher on Friday, while North Sea grades were steady.

* Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).
* There was a single deal on Friday.
* WTI Midland: Vitol bought from Gunvor for June 6-10 at dated Brent plus $1.20 on a CIF Rotterdam basis, or dated Brent plus 28 cents on an FOB basis, according to Reuters calculations. Earlier in the week, WTI Midland traded at dated Brent plus 50 cents on a CIF Rotterdam basis.
